Topic: Skin Care

Lesson #1: Protect yourself from the sun. One of the most important ways to take care of your skin is to protect it from the sun exposure and apply sunscreen daily.
A lifetime of sun exposure can cause wrinkles, age spots and other skin problems as well as increased risk of skin cancer.

Lesson # 2: Apply vitamin C serum daily. It brightens skin and promotes a more even tone while protecting against free radicals and other environmental stressors that can cause dark spots, fine lines and wrinkles.

Lesson #3:  Topical Vitamin A called Retinoids or Tretinoin, is the most used and studied antiaging compound to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, fade actinic keratosis spots, evens pigmentation and increase skin cell turnover, therefore increasing collagen production.

Lesson #4: Avoid smoking. Smoking decreases blood flow and depletes skin of oxygen and nutrients, damages collagen and elastin.

Lesson #5: Eat a healthy diet and drink plenty of water.
